Temperament Traits Quiz
This tool consists of nine questions, one for each temperament trait.
For each section, you'll find groups of characteristics related to that trait. This quiz is best for helping you discover the temperament of children age 18 months to 5 years. Place a check mark in the box next to the group of characteristics that best describes your child. You may choose only one group of characteristics for each temperament trait. If your child has some characteristics in each category, think about how he or she is most of the time. Keep in mind that these are generalizations and that all tips/descriptions may not apply specifically to your child.
Remember, this is just for you! Some of the characteristics might appear to be somewhat negative, but they are included to help you get an honest and accurate assessment of your child's temperament.
When you are done, you'll get a report summarizing your child's temperament traits, along with tips for working with your child's temperament. You will be able to print out this report for future reference.
